I am a beginner, what products should I purchase?
We recommend beginner students or artists to purchase the starter kit. This starter kit has everything you need to start practicing.
Which needle is compatible with my machine?
We have three needles brands we currently carry, please read carefully before purchasing:
- Compatible with the wireless Scepter Machine in Vanta Black, Rosa Gold or Glow Gold
- Compatible needles: Scepter 0.16mm 1 RL, 0.30 mm 1 RL, 0.40 mm 1 RL, and 0.25 mm 3 RL
- Compatible with the wireless T2S Rosegold, Gold, or Matte Black machines
- Compatible needles: T2S 0.15 mm 1 RL, 0.30 mm 1 RL & 0.30 mm 3 RL
- Compatible with the T2S+ Digital PMU Machine
- Compatible needles: T2S+ 0.30 mm 1 RL & 0.30 3RL
What is the difference between non-membrane & membrane needles?
Non-Membrane needles are needle cartridges without protective barrier in the cartridge that prevents backflow of fluids & blood into machine. Only recommended to be used on synthetic skins for practice purposes.
Membrane needles are needle cartridges with protective barrier in the cartridge that prevents backflow of fluids & blood into machine. This can be used on human skin for PMU tattoo preocedures. Most universal cartirdges should come with membrane protective barrier.
What are the different needles sizes & which do I need?
Needle basics:
- Diameter of needles (how thick needles are)
- 0.15 mm (millimeter)
- 0.16 mm (millimeter)
- 0.25 mm (millimeter)
- 0.30 mm (millimeter)
- Needle type & counts (how many needles in the cartidge)
- 1 RL (round liner)
- 3 RL (round liner)
We have few different sizes of needles for you to choose from and the purposes of each:
- 0.15 mm 1 rl (T2S/T2S+)
- Thinnest needle size 1 round liner needle that can be used for fine line brow outline
- Can be used to create thin nano-stroke hair lines or brow outline
- Do not recommend shading with this needle diameter
- 0.16 mm 1 rl (Scepter)
- Thinnest needle size 1 round liner needle that can be used for fine line brow outline
- Can be used to create thin nano-stroke hair lines or brow outline
- Do not recommend shading with this needle diameter
- 0.30 mm 1 rl (Scepter/T2S/T2S+)
- Standard needle size 1 round liner needle that can be used for almost all PMU procedures.
- This is the most common needle cartridge brow artists use from start to finish
- Recommended for ombre powder, nano-strokes, outline, saline removal and shading
- 0.40 mm 1 rl (Scepter/T2S/T2S+)
- Thicker needle size 1 round liner needle that can be used for nano-strokes, shading and tattoo lightening
- Recommended for ombre powder, nano-strokes, and saline removal
- 0.25 mm 3 rl (Scepter)
- Standard needle size 3 round liner needle that is only meant to be used for shading in the tails or body of brows
- Pigment packer and helps deposit pigment faster
- Recommended for ombre powder body shading & saline removal
- Not recommended on front ombre powder shading
- 0.30 mm 3 rl (T2S/T2S+)
- Standard needle size 3 round liner needle that is only meant to be used for shading in the tails or body of brows
- Pigment packer and helps deposit pigment faster
- Recommended for ombre powder body shading & saline removal
- Not recommended on front ombre powder shading
What types of topical numbing should I purchase?
There are two types of topical numbing for your clients:
- Before procedure (Pre-Numb Products)
- This type of numbing is used before you tattoo (can be done before you shape or after you outline)
- Length of numbing: 15-30 minutes
- Common key product ingredients: Lidocaine & Prilocaine
- Not to be used on broken skin (skin that has been cut or shaded into)
- During procedure (Anesthetics)
- This type of numbing is used during the tattoo procedure when client feels pain
- Length of numbing: 15-30 seconds
- Common key product ingredients: Lidocaine & Epinephrine
- These numbing should kick in right away to give immediate pain relief
- Recommended for broken skin (after you've broken the skin layer by shading) and only as needed
How long does it take for me to receive my order?
We are a small business Brow Supplies store and do our best with our small team to pack, process & ship out your order.
Your order processing may vary depending on the day of the week, volume of orders and the time of year. Shipping varies on the final destination of your order.
Average delivery time-frames:
- Domestic (within U.S.A.)
- 3 to 7 business days from when order has been processed and shipped out
- Orders on the East Coast generally takes a bit longer
- Domestic orders typically arrive within the same week order was placed
- Couriers we use: USPS & UPS
- International (outide of U.S.A.)
- 7 to 14 business days from when the order has been processed and shipped out
- International orders take longer to arrive as it will need to go through customs and clearance before you can receive your goodies
- Some larger orders may require you to pay for duty in order to import them into your country
- Couriers we use: UPS
